An overview and lore of the album
Tightrope
Adi! is heard expressing his concern with the ways that the modern world operates
and how the pressure can feel as "walking on a god damn tightrope", feeling constrained on what
can be and what can not be done. Adi! is also heard talking to Adi. A low version of himself
the embodiment of anxiety, fear, dread, and any negativity. Battling himself throughout the song
while maintain composure, being pushed over the edge by his negativity, he pushes back and puts it
in it's place then taking over again. Explaining how his plan to prove those who spoke bad about him
wrong and staying true to himself and telling others the truth.
Tranquility
Adi! is heard giving his perspective on how people will find ways to ruin things that
others enjoy or are happy doing. Explaining that each person sees things differently and suggesting
that people take more time off for themselves and their mental health. That true happiness comes from
the real inner you, that if you are planning on being the best version of you
Speak My Mind
Adi! is heard conversating with what he knows as Anxiety, Fear, and Dread.
Having anxiety to post that new song, having the fear to be different, having the dread of feedback.
Put simply, towards the end of Speak My Mind, Adi! speaks to Adi.
Beach Side
Adi! is heard relaxing and explaining how things have changed and that he changed for the
better while are others still stuck on the negative image of him. Confused by the image that people have of him
when he had changed long ago into a better person. Towards the end, he explains how he struggles to fit in
and gives incite to some truth of the real world behind the facade.
Imperfect
Adi! can be heard talking about himself and how he does not believe that he is enough for the average person.
Bringing up how a relationship left him feeling broken and lost, feeling suicidal after putting in too much effort and
not receiving even close to the same in return. Showing that he has got too much trauma that had been suppressed and how
he is slowly losing control of it. Going through the struggle of getting over a relationship by using the metaphor of
"Got new medication but it still being the same medicine"
Adi! is very personal and vulnerable in this song.
In My Head
Adi! tells a story about noises going through his ears. How those noises are able to tell him his worst
fears and having to live through every night repetitively, calling it out as a bad place. Touching on the topic of both
death and prosperity, how people are scared to die and are scared to take the leap of faith into prosperity. Going further
into detail about how the route to prosperity is rough, "Going side to side, it's such a rocky ride".
Explaining that if you look closely into his eyes, that you can see the real trauma behind them.
Hinting that his drink might have been laced, his vision begins moving around and the dreadful feeling of death instills
within him. Adi! is seen by the crowd, by everyone as he spirals and falls while he feels trapped inside his own hell.
Being overwhelmed by the thoughts, he breaks character and speaks directly to the listener with the line:
"There's too many things going on inside my head - Inside my head, oh" before going through the cycle again.
Empty
Adi! can be heard telling a story of heartbreak and confusion. How a girl had made him feel
and the consequences of her actions.
Featuring JonDulio, he follows up Adi!'s verse by giving his side of how he feels towards a past relationship
and how she had affected his public image by spreading rumors, trying to move past them all and improve on himself.
Adi! comes back in again and explains how he wishes that he had gotten closure before the relationship had ended
wishing that she would have at least given a reason to why it had to end. Towards the end, he eleborates how the
relationship had caused him mental distress and caused him to in a way, go insane. Followed up by reasoning to why
he can no longer take her back nor forgive her for her actions.
Ruger
Adi! has a clear shift between the start of the album being peaceful, upbeat, and relaxing to
darker toned more murderous lyrics. By now, the story's progression has gone to Adi! going nearly insane and beginning his
murderous rampage. No longer being held back by his past and instead dealing with it by letting go of himself and allowing
pure chaos to take place.
Sick Freestyle
In Sick Freestyle, Adi! can be heard almost giving warnings to stay away from him as by now he has become unstable
and unpredictable. Showing scenarios where he is not afraid to use a weapon to have the upper hand in an altercation.
Proving that even while handicapped with a sickness, he will still stand his ground and reassure you that he is on top.
Nauseous
Adi! can be heard almost reminiscing on the past and wondering what could have happened if some different choices were made.
Thinking back to when everything was better and worse, now appreciating where's he's at and how he got there.
This song was really made thinking about how bad of a situation he was in just about this same time last year (July even though all that happened August-February)
Adi! was not okay.
